Traditionally harvested from sustainably sourced South American Palo Santo Bursera Graveolens. The Bursera Graveolens is NOT the endangered species we hear so much about that one is a mahogany type wood called Bulnesia Sarmientoi which was over-exploited through clear cutting and kiln drying practices.
The Bursera Graveolens is harvested providing sustainable livelihood for farmers supporting eco-friendly harvesting practices and reforestation projects in South America.
This aromatic wood has a citrus pine scent when burned on a 45 degree angle then extinguished it maintains a slow burn for 60-120 seconds due to it's high oil content. Burning Palo Santo (BG) can have the following effects on the user and space:
