Mindfulness & Meditation 1 hour Session
Through Mindfulness based meditations SuburbZen will lead you through a series of self reflection exercises to awaken your personal awareness. These sessions will allow you to tap into what is holding you back, explore areas of personal empowerment and growth as well as create a sense of common humanity.
Join us at Quite a Stretch Yoga at 672 Fennell Ave E Hamilton, ON on either Tuesday mornings or Thursday evenings to recharge and connect within.
Trish has attended 8 week Mindfulness Self Compassion training through the Centre for People Development in affiliation with Hamilton Health Sciences in January 2017 and 16 weeks of Mindfulness classes through East Region Mental Health Services in affiliation with St. Joseph's Hospital in June 2017/March 2018 which focused on coping with Depression and Emotional Distress.
Her own personal journey with PTSD, Anxiety & Depression following a motor vehicle accident allows her to lead from a place of first hand experience using peer support to help guide others. She is focused on using these tools daily to cope with the stressors which disconnect us from that inner peace. Trish chooses to focuses on self compassion with the goal of achieving common humanity connections to lessen the burden of loneliness.
