Smudging

This practice originated with Indigenous peoples and their elders the practice of smudging involves the burning of herbs.

The practice of smudging is used to clear energies and administer blessings to people, places and objects. This is done by lighting the herb or wood you are working with and wafting the smoke in the direction of the area to be cleansed.

Traditionally this practice incorporates rituals or spiritual prayers to set intentions for clearing.
